The device has a grid of tiny titanium pyramids that briefly touch the skin... for milliseconds... transferring precise, controlled heat. This creates a pattern of micro-thermal zones that trigger your body's wound healing response.

What to expect: Most people need 2-3 Tixel sessions for lip lines, spaced 4-6 weeks apart. You'll see improvement after each session, with full results developing over 2-3 months.

Tixel for Eyes: Upper and Lower Lids

The eye area is where Tixel really shines. The thin, delicate skin around the eyes ages quickly... developing hooded upper lids, crepey texture, fine lines, and under-eye bags.

Bottom line: Tixel is often the better choice for delicate areas (eyes, lips) and for people who can't afford significant downtime. Lasers may be better for full-face resurfacing when you can take time to recover.

What to Expect During Treatment

Before: Numbing cream is applied 30-45 minutes before treatment. This makes the experience comfortable for most people.

During: Treatment takes 15-30 minutes depending on the area. You'll feel warmth and a stamping sensation as the device works.

After: Expect redness and mild swelling for 24-72 hours. The skin may feel tight or rough as it heals. Most people return to normal activities within 2-5 days. Makeup can typically be worn after 24-48 hours.

Downtime compared to other treatments:

• Tixel: 2-5 days
• Ablative laser: 7-14 days
• Non-ablative laser: 1-3 days
• Microneedling: 1-3 days

Results Timeline

Week 1: Healing... redness fades, skin feels smoother

Week 2-4: Initial improvement visible... tighter, fresher skin
