Taking the Leap…

Leaving a career path is never an easy decision. However, sometimes you have to listen to your heart (and body) and make the necessary changes to align with your passions and personal growth. This was the case for me when I left my position at a hospital to focus on dermatology, aesthetics, and wellness.

After completing my degree and working in the field for over 11 years, it’s time for a change. While I appreciated the experience, I couldn’t help but feel unfulfilled. I had always been passionate about taking care of my skin and improving my overall wellness, but my work at the hospital did not allow me to explore these areas as much as I wanted.

As time went on (and especially post-covid), I found myself increasingly drawn to dermatology and aesthetics. I was fascinated by the science behind skincare and the incredible impact that proper skincare and aesthetic treatments could have on a person’s confidence and overall well-being. I wanted to learn more and be able to provide these services to my patients.

After much contemplation, I made the decision to leave the hospital and focus on these passions. I began to pursue additional training and certifications, allowing me to expand my knowledge and skillset. I also began to explore wellness practices such as nutrition, exercise, and mindfulness, which I found to be essential components of overall health and beauty.

Today, as a dermatology and aesthetics provider, I am able to help my patients achieve their desired skin health and beauty goals while also prioritizing their overall wellness.  This seemingly small change has helped me to feel fulfilled in a way that I never was in my previous role, and I am grateful for the opportunity to follow my passions and help others along the way.

In this blog, I will be sharing my knowledge and expertise in dermatology, aesthetics, and wellness, providing valuable insights and tips to help you look and feel your best. I hope that my journey will inspire you to follow your passions and prioritize your well-being, as well.

Be well.  Be happy.
